Frequently Asked Questions
Are your plates vintage?
Yep! And by vintage, we mean not new. Read that again. Not new. It’s part of their charm. And part of our using what’s already out there and not creating more stuff, blah blah blah.
Are the plates in perfect condition?
Definitely not! They are vintage. They are thrifted. They are hunted for across nations. We look for plates in good condition and our baseline is “would we buy this?” This might not be your baseline. Take a close look at the pictures and expect some light wear and tear. If this is going to bother you, might we suggest Williams Sonoma.
Are they dishwasher safe?
Honestly, we have no idea because the plate itself is a beautiful vintage mystery. If you would throw Grandma’s china in the dishwasher, I assume you can throw these in. Otherwise, hand wash.
Are they food safe?
Yes! We spent a really long time on this part and stretched our brains to the max to make it happen. We envision our plates at brunches and holidays and girls’ nights so food was key. Exception: a few of our “singles” use vinyl for maximum impact. These are decorative. You’ll know it when you see them and we add it to the description. (It wouldn’t stop us from throwing a cup cake or two on them, but we live on the edge.)
Do you take custom orders?
Sometimes. We want to. We know you want us to. But because we hunt for our plates, we never know what we will have on hand. If you’re a flexible, it all works out kind of person, custom can be an option. Reach out.
Shipping. It’s Pricey.
We know. We’re sorry. Alas, USPS pricing is not within our control. We don’t mark shipping up a single cent and you’re getting a new box and complimentary bubble wrap. Does that help?
PICK-UP: If you’re local, you can pick up your purchase in 85003 (Roosevelt area). You will be coming to Becca’s office so please be normal.
DELIVERY: We can deliver in the general Phoenix area within a day or two or three for $10. Just so you know, this is not a fancy delivery service, this is Becca’s son. (@flyhighxia on IG) Why is it $8? Because time is money and Becca will have failed as a parent if she doesn’t impart that wisdom.
Are you professional photographers?
Obviously.
