Frequently Asked Questions

Are your plates vintage?

Yep! And by vintage, we mean not new. It’s part of their charm.

Are the plates in perfect condition?

Nope! They are vintage. They are thrifted. They are hunted for across nations. We look for plates in good condition and our baseline is “would we buy this?” This might not be your baseline. Take a close look at the pictures and expect some light wear and tear. If this is going to bother you, might we suggest Williams Sonoma.

Are they dishwasher safe?

Honestly, we have no idea because the plate itself is a beautiful vintage mystery. If you would throw Grandma’s china in the dishwasher, we assume you can throw these in. Otherwise, hand wash.

Are the “dinner party ready” dishes food safe?

Yes! We spent a really long time on this part and stretched our brains to the max to make it happen. We envision our plates at brunches and holidays and girls’ nights so food was key.

The “serving looks only” plates use vinyl for maximum impact. These are decorative. (It wouldn’t stop us from throwing a cup cake or two on them, but we live on the edge.)

Do you take custom orders?

We sure do. But because we hunt for our plates, we never know what we will have on hand. But we’re happy to show you. Email us or fill out the custom form on the Home Page

Can you provide the plates and we add the phrases? Sure! Reach out.

Shipping. It’s Pricey.

We know. We’re sorry. Alas, USPS pricing is not within our control. We don’t mark shipping up a single cent and you’re getting a box and complimentary bubble wrap. Does that help?
